What we do
AI agents for the work that happens inside documents.
Most enterprise data lives in documents — invoices, purchase orders, bills of lading, EOBs, clinical notes, contracts. Getting that data into the systems that need it has always required people. Nanonets replaces that manual loop with agents that read, validate, route, and post — automatically.
We are not a general-purpose AI platform. We are purpose-built for document-heavy business processes: accounts payable, order management, logistics, healthcare revenue cycle, and the dozens of other workflows where teams spend hours each day moving data from one place to another.
Today we serve 10,000+ customers across the globe — including 34% of Fortune 500 companies — processing over a billion documents a year.
How we think
A few things we have learned the hard way.
Reading a document is the easy part. The hard part is knowing what to do with it — which account to post to, which PO it matches, whether the numbers add up. We build for that part.
We have seen thousands of enterprise document workflows. They are not clean. Faxed invoices, handwritten BOLs, PDFs that are actually scans of printouts of scans. We stopped optimizing for demos a long time ago.
The right vendor code for that supplier. The GL account for that cost center. The approval threshold for that region. This stuff changes. It should live somewhere you can update it — not buried in a workflow nobody remembers how to edit.
Some documents are ambiguous. Some rules conflict. Some situations need a call. We route those to a person — with context, not just a flag. The goal was never zero humans. It was never wasting a human on something a machine could handle.
