Before a purchase order could be issued, every purchase requisition had to be checked line-by-line against its attached vendor quote — vendor, dates, payment terms, VAT, fees, totals, and each line item. Roughly 80 people did this by hand across 70 countries (6 in NAM alone), at ~40K PRs per year in each region.
