Every change marked, in the natural voice. Plain, unforced prose. The default.
How the AI humanizer works
A humanizer edits for voice. It removes the specific habits that make text read as generated and leaves the rest of your wording alone.
Give it the text
Paste it, drop in a PDF or Word file, or enter the address of a page. Pick a voice: natural, casual, professional or academic.
It is rewritten, not paraphrased
The text is first scanned for the habits that give machine writing away. A rewriting model then recasts it in the voice you chose, keeping every claim, name, number and paragraph in place.
You see every change
Changed words are marked in the rewrite. A panel counts the patterns before and after, and one click checks both versions with the AI detector.
What changes in a rewrite, and what never does
Original
In today’s fast-paced world, a good night’s sleep plays a crucial role in overall well-being. Moreover, experts recommend keeping a regular schedule, limiting screens, and avoiding caffeine late in the day. It is important to note that small changes can have a transformative impact.
Rewrite · Natural
Most of us sleep worse than we think, and it shows. Experts suggest keeping a regular schedule, putting screens away and skipping caffeine late in the day. Small changes add up.
Changed
- Stock phrases
- “Plays a crucial role”, “in today’s fast-paced world”, “it is important to note” and dozens more are replaced with plain words.
- Connective openers
- Sentences that begin “Moreover,”, “Furthermore,” or “In conclusion,” lose the connective, or are joined to their neighbours.
- Rhythm
- Sentences of near-identical length are broken up and recombined so the pace varies the way a person’s does.
- Register
- Contractions where the chosen voice calls for them; concrete nouns and plain verbs in place of abstractions.
Kept
- Meaning and order
- Every claim stays, in the order it was made. Nothing is added: no new facts, examples or conclusions.
- Specifics
- Names, numbers, dates, quotations, citations, URLs and technical terms are copied through exactly.
- Structure
- Paragraph breaks are kept, so the rewrite drops back into your document where the original was.
- Your judgement
- Changes are marked, so you can see each one and put the original wording back where you prefer it.
Who uses an AI humanizer
Anyone who has a draft that says the right things in the wrong voice.
Writers and marketers
Drafted a first version with an assistant? Take the generic sheen off so the copy sounds like your brand, not like everyone else’s.
Non-native English writers
Formal, carefully correct English is exactly what detectors flag. A rewrite in a natural voice reads as yours without changing what you said.
Students
Edit an AI-assisted outline or summary into your own voice, where your institution allows AI help, and keep the record of what changed.
Teams writing documentation
Generated docs read flat and repetitive. Vary the rhythm and cut the filler so people actually read them.
What a humanizer can and can’t do
It can take out the habits that make text read as generated, and it can show you exactly what it did. It can’t promise that any detector will score the result as human, because detectors disagree with one another and change over time. And it can’t turn work you didn’t do into work you did.
Used honestly, it is an editing tool: you keep the ideas, you approve each change, and the result is text you can stand behind. Check your institution’s or employer’s rules on AI assistance; many allow it with disclosure.
Check the result, don’t assume it
After every rewrite, one button runs the original and the rewrite through our AI detector and shows both scores side by side. The detector marks each sentence, so if something still reads as generated you can see which part and rewrite it by hand.
About the AI detectorRead it before you use it
The rewrite is produced by a model trained to keep your meaning. It does so closely, but not perfectly, and the marked changes exist so a two-minute read catches anything that drifted.
Questions about AI humanizing
What does an AI humanizer do?
It rewrites text that reads as machine-written so that it reads as a person's. Models have habits: stock phrases like "plays a crucial role", sentences that open with "Moreover," and "Furthermore,", tidy lists of three, no contractions, and sentences that all run to the same length. The humanizer takes those out, varies the rhythm and chooses plainer words, while keeping what the text says.
Ours also shows its work. Every change is marked in the rewrite, and a panel lists which patterns were in the original and how many remain.
Will the rewrite pass AI detectors?
Usually it scores much lower, and you can see for yourself: after a rewrite, use the check button to run both versions through our AI detector. But no humanizer can promise a pass. Detectors disagree with each other, they change over time, and some of what they measure is in the ideas rather than the wording.
The honest way to think about it: the rewrite removes the surface habits that give machine text away. Whether the result reads as yours depends on whether you make it yours, so read it and edit it.
Does it change what my text says?
It is not supposed to. The rewrite keeps every claim and the order they come in, along with names, numbers, dates, quotations, citations and paragraph breaks. It adds no facts, examples or conclusions.
It is still software doing the rewriting, so read the result before you use it. The marked changes make that quick: anything unmarked is unchanged.
Which voice should I pick?
Natural is the default and suits most writing: plain prose with contractions where they fall naturally. Casual is looser and more conversational, for blog posts, emails and social copy. Professional is clear and direct, for business writing. Academic keeps a formal register with no contractions, for essays and papers, while still fixing the rhythm and word choice.
Is it free? Are there limits?
It is free and needs no account. Each rewrite covers up to 600 words; longer text is cut to that length and the result says so. There is a daily allowance of rewrites per visitor, and on very busy days the per-rewrite limit may be lower. Trail, our full product, has no word or daily limits.
Can I upload a file or paste a link?
Yes. Upload a PDF, Word document (.docx), OpenDocument text (.odt), RTF, Markdown or plain text file, or paste the address of a public web page. Files are read in your browser; only the extracted text is sent to be rewritten.
Is my text stored or used for training?
Your text is sent to a third-party rewriting service to produce the rewrite and is not used to train models. We do not store the text or the rewrite: nothing is kept once the response has been sent to your browser. We keep only counts, such as how many words were rewritten today, to run the free allowance.
Is using an AI humanizer cheating?
It depends on the rules you are working under. Editing your own AI-assisted draft so it reads like you is ordinary writing work, and this tool is built for that: it shows every change, so you stay in control of the text. Submitting machine-written work as your own where that is forbidden is a different matter, and a humanizer does not change that.
If you are a student or an employee, check what your institution or employer allows. Many now permit AI assistance with disclosure.
How is this different from a paraphraser?
A paraphraser swaps words for synonyms and reorders clauses. That often makes text read worse, and it rarely touches the habits detectors look for, such as even sentence rhythm and connective openers. A humanizer edits for voice: it removes those habits specifically, varies the pace and prefers plain words, and it leaves wording alone where it already reads well.
Which languages does it support?
It works best in English, where the pattern analysis (stock phrases, connective openers, contractions) applies. Text in other major languages is rewritten in the same language, but the before-and-after pattern counts cover sentence rhythm only.
Why show the changes at all?
Because a rewrite you cannot inspect is a rewrite you cannot trust. The marks tell you at a glance what moved, and the pattern panel tells you why. If a change is wrong, you can put the original wording back. If the rewrite barely changed anything, you know the text was already reading naturally.
